Finding and Contacting Consultants
This section relates to when the potential purchaser searches for a consultant using the Meeting Places national web community with the intent to purchase the consultant’s services. This includes, but is not limited to, searching for a consultant and sending Request for Proposal (RFP) to consultant.
- The Purchaser agrees to communicate to Meeting Places Inc. if and when a contract takes place between them and the consultant(s), the value of the contract including total payments for services, and where applicable, direct expenses to be reimbursed, and the agreed upon payment schedule.
- The Consultant agrees to communicate to Meeting Places Inc. if and when a contract takes place between them and the purchaser, the value of the contract including total payments for services, and where applicable, direct expenses to be reimbursed, and the agreed upon payment schedule. The Consultant further agrees to pay Meeting Places Inc. a fee of 10% (plus GST) of the total value of each contract (minus reimbursed expenses) made between them and the purchaser as a result of this web community. Payment of the fee will be made by the Contractor to Meeting Places Inc. upon payment by the Purchaser to the Consultant.
Adding Yourself to the Consultant Database
Meeting Places Inc. provides consultants with a risk-free way to attract business where payment is only expected when they receive business. Because of this, minimum controls (both physical and legal) are in place to track communications and agreements between purchasers and consultants. The consultant agrees to practice integrity at all times and act in a manner conducive to the intent of these terms and agreements, and the nature of their relationship with Meeting Places Inc.
Finding and Purchasing Training
This section relates to when the potential purchaser searches for workplace training events using the Meeting Places national web community with the intent to purchase training seat(s). This includes, but is not limited to, searching for training events and purchasing through Meeting Places Inc., or using the 5% discount coupon and purchasing directly through the training event provider.
- Purchasing Directly from Training Provider: The Training Provider agrees to honour the 5% discount coupons generated on their behalf by Meeting Places Inc. and communicate to Meeting Places Inc. if and when a purchase has been made of their services. The Training Provider further agrees to pay Meeting Places Inc. a fee of 10% (plus GST) of the total value of the purchase made as a result of this web community. Payment of the fee will be made by the Training Provider to Meeting Places Inc. upon payment by the Purchaser to the Training Provider.
- Purchasing On-line: The Training Provider agrees to honour training seats sold on their behalf by Meeting Places Inc. Upon confirmation that the training has taken place in good faith, Meeting Places Inc. will pass the payment (plus GST) made along to the Training Provider minus a fee of 15% (plus GST) of the total value of the purchase.

Meeting Places Inc. provides training providers with a risk-free way to attract business where payment is only expected when they receive business. The training provider agrees to practice integrity at all times and act in a manner conducive to the intent of these terms and agreements, and the nature of their relationship with Meeting Places Inc.
Use of the Rating Feature
A feature is provider so that purchasers of training or consulting services can post reviews and ratings for the service they received. This feature allows for instant references for other potential purchasers to view and serves to award good (and deter poor) service provision.
- The Purchaser agrees to always use the review and rating feature in good faith and in a professional manner. The Purchaser further agrees that they will not use foul or improper language when stating their review and that the review will reflect an accurate depiction (without exaggeration) of the service provided. Meeting Places Inc. has the right to edit or delete reviews that they feel do not meet the above requirements.
- The Service Provider agrees that the review provided by the purchaser is their view alone and will hold Meeting Places Inc. blameless for any negative consequences resulting from the posting of the review.
Limitation of Liability
This web community service is being provided free of charge to purchasers, and risk-free to service providers. Accordingly, all web community users agree that Meeting Places Inc. does not warrant any services provided by consultants, trainers or third party providers of products and services found on, or linked to, this website, and will not be liable whatsoever for any damages incurred as a result of their use or for subsequent contractual arrangements. Information posted on the website (including articles) does not imply support and/or endorsement by Meeting Places Inc.
Under no circumstances shall Meeting Places Inc. be liable to any user on account of that user's use or misuse of www.MeetingPlaces.ca . Such limitation of liability shall apply to prevent recovery of direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, and punitive damages whether such claim is based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, even if Meeting Places Inc. has been advised of the possibility of such damages).
