It’s fast and easy for anyone to become a member of www.MeetingPlaces.ca.
All you have to do is click on the “signup”
link provided throughout the website and you’re on your way. Remember that
it’s always Free to Purchasers and Risk-Free to Providers.
Risk-free for providers means that you can keep on advertising training events,
e-Training or training and consultant profiles without charge for as long as you’d
like (except where we exercise our right to remove content) and pay a small percentage
only when you make a sale (see terms & conditions).
Although limited access is available to everyone, full access to all of the website’s
services are only available to you when you become a member:
Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions are provided during your signup that include member’s
responsibilities regarding each of the products and services made available on the
website, as well as the overall expectations for each member to act in a professional
manner and adhere to the intentions of the terms & conditions in cases where
it is not explicitly spelled out. Please make sure that you take the time to read
and understand them. Even if you signup as a member, you are only responsible for
each of the terms & conditions that apply to you and the services that you use.

Add a Consultant Profile
Canadian consultants or consulting companies can add their profile to the Meeting
Places internet database completely risk free. This means no cost to the consulting
provider until they actually receive a contract from a purchaser through use of
the Meeting Places web community (see terms & conditions).
After the consultant has added their profile, they can forget about it and know
with confidence that Meeting Places is working on their behalf to bring interested
purchasers to search the national database. When they find one or more consultants
that look like a match to their needs, they will send an RFP to the selected consultants
and ask them to respond with a proposal. Meeting Places will contact the consultant
on a periodic basis and ask them to ensure that their profile is correct and up
to date.
Add a Training Profile
Canadian training companies can add their profile to the Meeting Places internet
database completely risk free. This means no cost to the training provider until
they actually receive a sale from a purchaser through use of the Meeting Places
web community (see terms & conditions). After the training
company has added their profile, they can forget about it and know with confidence
that Meeting Places is working on their behalf to bring interested purchasers to
search the national database. Purchasers contact the training provider directly
to make arrangements and apply a 5% discount coupon generated through Meeting Places.
Meeting Places will contact the training company on a periodic basis and ask them
to ensure that their profile is correct and up to date.
Add an e-Training Link
Training companies can add their e-Training link to the Meeting Places internet
database completely risk free. This means no cost to the training provider until
they actually receive a sale from a purchaser through use of the Meeting Places
web community (see terms & conditions). After the training
company has added their profile, they can forget about it and know with confidence
that Meeting Places is working on their behalf to bring interested purchasers to
search the national database. Purchasers contact the training provider through a
direct link. Meeting Places will contact the training company on a periodic basis
and ask them to ensure that their profile is correct and up to date.
Add a Training Event
Canadian trainers can add their training event to the Meeting Places internet database
completely risk free. This means no cost to the training provider until they actually
receive an order from a purchaser through use of the Meeting Places web community
(see terms & conditions). After the training provider
has added their training event, it will be made available to purchasers looking
for training events across Canada. Purchasers are given the choice to order and
pay for a training event either online through Meeting Places or by contacting the
training provider and applying a 5% discount coupon generated through Meeting Places.
When training events are ordered through Meeting Places, the training provider receives
a notification of the order.
Search for Materials
Meeting Places is constantly looking for partners that will provide our members
with extra special value. That’s why we created a special materials page.
Click on the materials tab to find links to books, videos, software, manuals and
other things that will help to enrich your training or consulting service. Also
available to internal workplace trainers.
Search for a Consultant
Canadian purchasers can always use the Meeting Places searchable database free of
charge to find consultants across Canada (see terms & conditions).
When they find one or more consultants that look like a match to their needs, they

Search for a Trainer

charge to find training companies across Canada (see terms & conditions).
When they find a training company that matches their needs, they can contact them
directly and utilize a Meeting Places coupon to receive a 5% discount off of their
best price.
Search for e-Training
Canadian purchasers can always use the Meeting Places searchable database free of
charge to find links to their e-Training needs (see terms & conditions).
Discounts or specials offered to Meeting Places members will be determined on an
individual basis.
Search for a Training Event
Canadian purchasers can always use the Meeting Places internet searchable database
free of charge to find training event across Canada (see terms &
conditions). Purchasers are given the choice to order and pay for a training
event either online through Meeting Places for security (Meeting Places keeps the
training event payment for one week after the training event) or through the training
provider themselves and save (apply a 5% discount coupon generated through Meeting
Places).
Post Reviews
Canadian purchasers will be able to post reviews for any consulting and training
services they received through Meeting Places. These reviews will be available for
others whenever they locate the provider on a database search.
Take Advantage of Discounts
Canadian purchasers can are given the choice of how they order training. If they
elect to order and pay for that training through the training provider themselves,
they can save by generating and applying a 5% discount to the best negotiated price.
